|In the border areas of Italy and Slovenia, where the Isonzo Front was fought from May 1915 to October 1917, visitors can visit numerous museums and private museum collections . These aim to preserve the heritage, keeping alive the memory of the Great War and the Isonzo Front, as well as educating tourist visitors to the museums.
